DAY 1: HÀ GIANG – DU GIÀ ( TAY VILLAGE) (70km)

Morning: 

At 7:00 am, you will be picked up at your accommodation in Ha Giang city and have breakfast at an heirloom restaurant for more than 40 years with  "Village duck noodle soup" specialty.

Then, we begin the journey to Du Già. On the way, we stop and stroll around some beautiful ethnic villages like Kẹp A, Kẹp B villages... 

Noon:

Check-in homestay, enjoy a family meal with locals, experience unique Tay typical dishes.

Afternoon:

Explore Du Già village, one of the most beautiful Tay villages in Ha Giang. The name Du Gia implies a perfect place for meditation. There you have the opportunity to experience:

• Get a great insight into the lifestyle and culture of the Tay ethnic people such as how to build houses on stilts, pick rice on terraced fields... through trekking around the village, entering a random house and interacting with the locals.
• Trekking and bathing, have a cool dip into Du Gia waterfall (3km).
• Learn how to cook typical dishes of the Tay people from the homestay owner.

Evening:

Enjoy dinner with family with homegrown specialties such as hill chicken, stream fish,... and cultural exchange with local people. 

DAY 2: DU GIÀ – NGỌC LONG ( BAMBOO RAFTING) – MÈO VẠC

Morning: 

At 7:00 am, have breakfast at the homestay, move to Ang village - where you will go bamboo rafting on the river to a super beautiful water cave like in a fairy tale. On the way you will pass Ngoc Long commune, a picturesque Tay village. Going to Ang village, you can experience interesting activities such as:

• Go bamboo rafting into Ngoc Long water cave, enjoy coffee in a bamboo cup.

Noon:

Lunch on bamboo rafting with local specialties of the Tay people such as grilled chicken, wild vegetables…

Afternoon:

Move to Meo Vac district, on the way, you will pass and admire the impressive natural picture by the road on one side is terraced fields, the other side is ethnic villages. We will stop and enjoy great atmosphere at:

• M-shaped crabs - one of the most impressive and beautiful slopes in Ha Giang.

Evening:

Take rest and enjoy dinner with locals in Meo Vac.

DAY 3: MÈO VẠC – MÃ PÌ LÈNG – LAO XA ( H-MONG VILLAGE)

Lao Xa village looks like a fairy picture

Morning: 

At 7:00 am, have breakfast at the homestay, move to Ma Pi Leng pass - one of the four most beautiful peaks in Vietnam. On the way, you will also admire the typical natural beauties of Ha Giang and stop at Ma Pi Leng pass to experience:

• Trekking ½ walking route (about 7km) on the pass to explore the panorama of Ma Pi Leng, Nho Que river and the Hmong village standing on the rocky mountain. Bring some luckiness for the chance to admire the sea of clouds there! - The most stunning and picturesque view that you can not miss!

Noon:

Have lunch in Dong Van town.

Afternoon:

Move to Lao Xa village. This is one of the most beautiful Hmong villages still preserving the original identity. There you have the opportunity to experience:

• Learn about life in the rocky area: You will directly see and hear the sounds of the rocky mountains and the breathing of life there. Moreover, understand the Vietnamese saying “There is no mountain higher than the knees of the Hmong” or another saying “Live on the rock, die under the rock”. From these stories, we can deeply feel the "extraordinary energy" of ethnic community there.
• Learn about the traditional Hmong craft of silver carving.

Evening:

Take rest and enjoy a family meal with locals at “Lao Xa old house” homestay, experience unique H’Mong typical dishes such as “mèn mén”, “tẩu chúa”, dried pork upstairs kitchen, forest vegetables... After the meal you will enjoy:

• Listen to ethnic melodies through traditional Hmong musical instruments such as: Khèn Mong, flute, lip lute... as well as cultural and historical stories behind those tunes.

DAY 4: LAO XA  – LÙNG TÁM – HÀ GIANG city

Morning:

At 7:00am, have breakfast and drink coffee at the homestay, then drive to Ha Giang City. On the way you will pass many beautiful natural scenes, the highlights are:

• Tham Ma slope - One of the famous beautiful slopes creating the typical image of Ha Giang roads.

Noon:

Have lunch in Yen Minh town.

Afternoon:

Visit Lung Tam linen village - Find out and experience how handmade linen is born there. This is one of the products that is considered a "heirloom" of the H'Mong people. You’ll see and can buy linen products and souvenirs on display there.

End of the journey, drive back to Ha Giang city. We take you back to your accommodation or bus station to go to other provinces such as Ha Noi, Cat Ba, Sapa, Ninh Binh...
